Get Your Project Right calculators, guides, measurements and buying quantities are provided for general planning and estimation only. They are not a substitute for product instructions, site inspection, professional design or specialist advice where those are required.

Actual material requirements can vary because of product specifications, surface condition, wastage, installation method, site conditions and measurement accuracy. Always check the current manufacturer or supplier information for the exact product you intend to use before purchasing or starting work.

Guidance involving structural work, electricity, gas, heating, fire safety or other regulated or safety-critical work should not be treated as approval that a particular installation is suitable or compliant. Use an appropriately qualified professional where the project requires one.

Privacy Policy

Get Your Project Right is operated by Big City Partners Limited, which is responsible for personal data processed in operating this website. You can use the calculators without creating an account or providing your name or password.

Calculator measurements and project inputs are processed in your browser. Get Your Project Right does not send those calculator inputs to a Get Your Project Right account or project database. Some project-summary features may use storage in your own browser so that information can be carried between related tools on your device.

Hosting, security and network providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or device information and security logs. Such information should be retained only for operational, security and legal purposes for as long as reasonably necessary.

If you submit feedback, the message, relevant page address and any optional reply email are processed by Formspree and delivered to our business mailbox, which may forward messages to our central business inbox. Formspree may process technical information for submission handling and spam prevention. Please do not include passwords or sensitive information.

We have applied to use Google AdSense and prepared a Google-certified consent-management integration, but advertising remains disabled. The website does not currently load the prepared Google advertising runtime or optional analytics scripts. Non-essential storage or tracking will not be treated as necessary merely because it may be useful for advertising.

When advertising is active, the Google consent message identifies participating advertising technology providers and their purposes. Google’s partner-sites privacy information explains how Google uses information from sites using its services. Google and participating providers are responsible for their own processing and retention practices.

Get Your Project Right does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or another optional audience-tracking product as part of this AdSense preparation. Any later addition of a separate analytics service would require its own review, disclosure and consent treatment.

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights over personal data relating to you, including rights to access, correct, erase or restrict certain processing and to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Some rights depend on the legal basis and circumstances of the processing.

Cookies & Similar Technologies

Browser storage necessary for a feature you request may be used, for example to keep related project-summary information on your own device. That first-party project information remains in your browser and is separate from advertising.

Prepared Google AdSense and consent-management code is protected by a default-off release flag. Google advertising cookies and similar optional technologies are not activated by this build. They remain disabled until AdSense review, account-generated configuration, mobile audit and deployment approval are complete.

When the consent integration is enabled, visitors can accept, reject or manage choices and reopen them using the Privacy and cookie settings control in the site footer. The legal page itself is kept free of advertising and consent-message tags.

External & Affiliate Links

Get Your Project Right may link to third-party retailers, manufacturers or other websites where useful for a project. Those websites operate under their own terms and privacy practices, and Get Your Project Right is not responsible for their content or availability.

Some future product links may be affiliate links. Where that applies, Get Your Project Right may receive a commission if you make a qualifying purchase, at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not change calculations, and commercial links should be identified clearly where appropriate.

Get Your Project Right content, branding and original site materials may not be copied, scraped in bulk, republished or sold as another commercial service without permission, except where applicable law permits such use.

We may update calculators, assumptions, guides and these terms as the service develops. Material changes to privacy or tracking practices will be reflected in the information provided to visitors.
